Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures remains one of those foundational works that absolutely requires further research. Mary Baker Eddy writes:

“Centuries will pass before the exposition of the inexhaustible topics in this book is sufficiently understood to be fully demonstrated.” (Miscellaneous Writings, page 92).

After all, we can now look back on almost 100 years of research history. John Doorly and Dr. Max Kappeler presented fundamental research findings in their life's work, which we can build upon today.

The current state of research on the method of synonym study serves as a reference point for the project's inception. It is the supreme discipline in learning the language of the mind and a key building block for the conscious development of consciousness. After reviewing the current state of research, project participants can take on parts of the project individually or collaboratively.
