Aim of the project: The understanding of the Logos as a frame of reference for the exploration and discovery of spiritual reality.
The Gospel of John was included in the canon of the Christian Bible only after considerable resistance. To this day, generations of theologians have failed to grasp its message, if only because its inherent frame of reference transcends the established theological framework.
Only after the symbolic key to the work was discovered could its outstanding significance for the exploration of the spiritual dimension of existence be recognized.
About the project
- We explore the categorical meaning and frame of reference of this text based on the current state of research
- In particular, we explore the significance of the Gospel of John as a bridging text between religion, philosophy, psychology, sociology, semantics and the non-reductionist approaches of the natural sciences
- Project duration: approximately 1 year. Start: March 2026
- A Zoom meeting every 14 days to exchange research results
- Definition of subprojects based on the Gospel of John and the key symbolism of the Apocalypse
